Parksite was one of the earliest clients of Webfarm going back to 1995 just
after Webfarm was founded. Webfarm worked closely with Parksite to develop an
effective and appropriate Internet strategy that put Parksite in a pioneering
position in the market. Parksite, Inc. has grown steadily throughout this time
and the Internet strategy has also evolved to include online inventory information
and order placement for their customers as well as account inquiries and customer
support.
Parksite has launched a number of vertical market sites to be able to address
specific segments of the building supply market.This sort of business to business
application may seem commonplace today, but in the context of 1996 and 1997,
using the Internet to interact more effectively with suppliers and customers
was a frontier. Parksite and Webfarm together developed and managed a strategy
of appropriate, effective, sustainable growth in the support that the Internet
was giving to the business.
